ABOUT USR
Who We Are
U.S. Renewables is a full-lifecycle renewable energy development company that brings projects from concept to completion. Founded in 2008, we work with landowners, development companies, communities, utilities, and investors to advance clean energy projects that create real, lasting value — for our partners and for the places where we operate.
Our team brings more than ten decades of collective experience and a track record measured in gigawatts developed and megawatts installed. We are a U.S.-based company with a nationwide footprint, and we operate with the discipline and follow-through that complex energy projects demand. Whether we are developing a project from the ground up, partnering with another developer to fill a gap in their team, or stepping in to support a project already in motion, we show up as a committed partner at every stage.

Development
Bringing a renewable energy project from concept to reality takes experience, relationships, and relentless follow-through. Our development team works alongside investors, landowners, and offtakers from the earliest stages of project identification through financial close. We understand the interconnected nature of the development process — where a delay in one workstream can ripple across the entire timeline — and we structure our approach to keep every track moving in parallel. Whether you’re standing up a new project or need support on a portfolio already in motion, U.S. Renewables is a true partner at every step.
Land Services
Our services include siting and land acquisition, title review, and environmental permitting. Finding the right site is equal parts art and science, and getting land and title right from the start is what protects a project for the long term. U.S. Renewables works with landowners, title companies, and environmental consultants to evaluate sites thoroughly — assessing land control options, resolving title complications, and identifying environmental constraints before they become costly surprises. Our team brings deep experience in right-of-way, easements, and land use across a wide range of property types, including agricultural, federal, and tribal lands. We move carefully and collaboratively so that the foundation your project is built on is solid.
Permitting and Entitlement
Navigating the permitting and entitlement process requires equal parts technical knowledge and relationship-building with the agencies and communities that have a say in your project’s future. U.S. Renewables works closely with local jurisdictions, state agencies, and project teams to prepare thorough, defensible permit packages and guide them through review. We track evolving regulatory requirements and anticipate issues before they reach the decision-maker’s desk. Our goal is to help your project earn its approvals efficiently, with community trust intact.
Interconnection
Interconnection is one of the most consequential — and often most challenging — workstreams in renewable energy development. U.S. Renewables helps project teams navigate the queue process, coordinate with transmission operators, and manage study timelines and costs with clear eyes. We work with your engineering and legal teams to evaluate interconnection options, respond to study results, and keep the path to a signed agreement on track. Our experience across multiple utility territories means we understand both the technical requirements and the procedural nuances that can make or break a project’s timeline.
Engineering
At U.S. Renewables, engineering is not an afterthought — it is woven into how we develop and deliver projects from the start. We bring technical rigor to every phase, ensuring that design decisions are made with a full understanding of their implications for interconnection, permitting, procurement, and long-term performance. Our approach integrates value engineering throughout the process, so that projects are not just buildable, but optimized. Clients come to us knowing that engineering expertise is part of the package.
Construction Management
Building a renewable energy project on time and within budget requires rigorous oversight, clear communication, and a team that has been in the field. U.S. Renewables provides construction management and owner’s representative services across utility-scale and commercial projects, serving as your eyes and ears throughout the construction process. We work closely with EPCs, subcontractors, and equipment suppliers to track progress, manage schedules, and resolve issues before they escalate. Our team has overseen some of the largest and most complex project builds in the country, and we bring that experience to bear on every project we touch.
Offtake
Securing the right offtake agreement is what transforms a development-stage project into a financeable asset. U.S. Renewables works with clients to evaluate offtake structures, identify the right counterparties, and support negotiations that reflect the realities of today’s energy market. We understand how offtake terms interact with interconnection, financing, and project economics, and we help you think through tradeoffs so you can move forward with confidence. Whether you’re pursuing a PPA, a merchant strategy, or something in between, we’re at the table with you.
Community Engagement
Successful renewable energy projects are built on more than permits and contracts — they are built on trust. U.S. Renewables brings a structured, strategic approach to stakeholder engagement, helping project teams identify, understand, and build relationships with the full range of community voices that shape a project’s trajectory. We develop and execute engagement plans that move in step with the project timeline, ensuring that landowners, local officials, tribal nations, and community organizations are informed and heard at every stage. Proactive engagement is also smart risk management — by surfacing and addressing community concerns early, we help clients avoid the delays, opposition, and reputational exposure that derail projects long after the technical work is done. From public hearings to one-on-one outreach, we help our clients show up as credible, committed partners in the communities where they work.

As a founding member of the Maxwell Leadership Team and a Human Behavior Consultant, he leads workshops, seminars, speaking engagements, and coaches young professionals in the practical application of proven leadership methods.
